I couldn’t resist. I just *had* to share this on my blog. This video features two things I love – Josh Groban (*swooon*) and Kanye West’s tweets. It’s the perfect formula for a WIN!
My Monday Chuckle
Normally, my Mondays are less than entertaining. It usually consists of weekly planning and prioritizing, catching up on emails, wearing glasses (not contacts) and an afternoon cup of joe. However, today was different. As I was perusing my usual nerd blogs that I follow, I saw a post about how Rackspace’s servers went down. I didn’t really react because things like that happen once in a while, but this caught my eye:

Yep. That is what you think it is. Justin Timberlake made a sarcastic comment about Rackspace’s servers going down on TWITTER. It’s quite possibly one of the nerdiest things he’s done. It’s almost as though he’s actually a nerd? No, no, can’t be (but a girl can wish). Maybe I don’t give mainstream celebrities enough credit, but I’m surprised and impressed that Mister JT knew what a hosting company was. It just doesn’t seem like his thing, you know? Nonetheless, this whole incidence trivial incidence has made JT several notches cooler in my book.
When Rackspace’s servers were back up and running, he followed up his last tweet with this:

I <3 JT!
My Overdue SxSW 2009 Blog Post
It has been weeks since I was in Austin for SxSW and I am now, finally getting the chance to share my experience. Shame on me. I should have had something up within a day I got back, but I had to catch up on all the things I had to put on the back-burner. Major kudos to those who blogged about their experience each night. I was having too much fun and being fully absorbed in SxSW (and bumping into Gary Vaynerchuk). =P I still can’t believe I got to meet him! I kid you not, it was like meeting the Jonas Brothers. Never would I have ever thought that I had the streak of teeny bopper in me to do the whole wave your arms and scream frantically thing…but I did. I surprised myself. I’ve concluded that meeting Gary is the highlight of my 2009. =D

Before I go too off topic, here’s a little video I made to sum up what SxSW was like for me this year. Can we say awesome?
Twittering During Surgery
Not that I’m surprised by it because it was just a matter of time, but I didn’t think that Twittering in the medical environment would occur so soon. Surgeons from Henry Ford Hospital posted real-time updates with how the operation of removing a cancer tumor from a man’s kidney was going using Twitter. Pretty fascinating. However, I don’t know if I’d volunteer myself to be the one being Twittered about. =\
