About

The Quick Rundown

As a highly energetic and curious individual, I have been in the web technology and marketing world for 5 years. During this time, I have created and launched a web startup, developed online media campaigns and grown a community of followers across various web platforms.

My goal is to continue to learn how digital technology is changing how we live and develop strategies that enable businesses to achieve key outcomes.

Currently, I keep busy by immersing myself in marketing communications management, writing forĀ Appetite for Good, catching up on my RSS feeds, trying to cook and learning how to use my DSLR camera.

A Little More

Curious by nature and a digi-explorer at heart, I’ve always been quick to embrace all things new and techy. I can vividly remember my first Yahoo encounter when I was 7 on my 56k, my first mIRC chat experience, and my first Geocities website. Those were the good days. Ever since then, my interest for technology and emerging new goodies have deepened.

I’m one of those quirky individuals who can conjure and concoct ideas all day long. When it comes to websites and mobile applications, I love sketching out wireframes, developing a list of features and functions to incorporate, hypothesizing how people will use the finished product and brainstorming solutions to any potential problematic issue.

Not too long after wards, I grew infatuated with the art of marketing. Differentiation, branding, positioning, and interaction are just a few of the many concepts that run through my head when introduced to a new product and idea. For me, the most appealing aspect of marketing is the social and behavioral – because bottom line, it’s about the people. Everyday, the level of dependence for the internet grows and to study the social dynamics of it is fascinating. It has become a lifestyle to understand a product’s strategy and its influential effect. It’s kind of like a puzzle – figuring out what the underlying strategy is for each tactic.

Little did I know that the web and marketing were going to be the two forces that drive me.

That’s me in a nutshell. =)
